This one is not in print form at this time. “Though I might forget you, / it’s important that you see / just how much it means to me / that you remember me.” Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia are sad and frightening conditions that seem to be more and more prevalent in our society. This was written for my mother-in-law. I wondered what someone who is beginning to become forgetful might think or fear. I think it must be frightening to wonder whether you (or I) will be forgotten by those we love. The above line came to me, and I worked the poem around it. As an etched piece, we can include the name of your loved one. This piece can be etched in dark brown, black, or dark gray marble, with a white or gold double matte around your loved one’s photograph.
